Nvidia nForce 4 WHQL

The recent mother charts equipped with a chipset nForce 4 have just

profited from an update their drivers. Indeed, Nvidia published

last Friday the generic version 6.39 WHQL of the ForceWare drivers

for nForce.

These new drivers relate to according to Nvidia only the chipsets

nForce 4 (CK804 A02 and CK804 A03) but it would seem that it is

obviously possible to use them with the preceding revisions of the

nForce. Better is worth all the same in this case to remain with

version 5.10 not to take risks.

Does side of the innovations, this version 6.39 correct some

problems of compatibility (software and/or hardware?) and brings

the support of the function "Disk Alert System" which allows, in

the event of breakdown of a hard disk, to visualize directly under

Windows on which port Serial ATA is connected the defective hard

disk.
