The notification shows success or failure of Group Policy processing and records the time spent by Group Policy processing for both the computer and user. This information is recorded to the desktop system's application event log, where you can collect it using your favorite log collection system.
Group Policy Status Monitor runs in the system tray of your XP or Vista systems and provides a configurable balloon notification each time policy processes in the background.
