Eseutil Exchange 2007

Exchange Server database stores all the user mailbox data items such as emails, notes, calendar, contacts, tasks, etc in an EDB file on the Exchange Server.

Eseutil /g command is an Eseutil switch that can be used to check the integrity of the Exchange Server database file.

Similarly, there are various other Eseutil switches are available that can be used to perform tasks like database defragmentation, database repair, and so on. Once the integrity of the Exchange Server database is checked, in case any mismatch is found then the Exchange Server database can be repaired using the Eseutil /p command.

Though earlier versions of Eseutil support .stm files, Eseutil Exchange 2007 does not support .stm file. Apart from this, Eseutil Exchange 2007 supports offline defragmentation only. Thus, Eseutil Exchange 2007 cannot be used for online defragmentation as Eseutil Exchange 2007 does not support it.
