The Agile approach is not a single methodology. It focuses on the “human factor”, appropriate working environment, and learning as the factors that influence the successfulness of a project. Agile development lifecycle is short and open to quick changes. Changes to the software specification are acceptable, and development is considered as a cooperative, goal oriented game. The founding principles of this family have been determined in cooperation between many of the leaders in research and software application implementation, and were publicized as the Manifesto for Agile Software Development.
